Dear Neighbours and Readers,
We are affected by the Spanish Coastal Law of 1988 - Ley de Costas... and we continue fighting for our property rights. We are located in the seafront area of Albufera, situated in the capital of Alicante. Around 800 flats and 4000 people are affected here.
This website’s principal objective is to inform and serve as a vehicle of communication to the members of the Association about our activities to defend our property rights and the arbitrary way the law is applied. We also aim to gather and make public any documentation - historic, past and current - relevant to our area and issues we are forced to tackle. All of us bought our property in good faith, some recently and other have lived here since the buildings were built back in the 60's and 70's. For the general public who is interested in the situation of these affected properties, here is freely accessible information and documents that you can read and download. Internal documents, minutes of meetings, protocols etc iis restricted to members only. Should you be interested in any restricted content, please send us an enquiry.
Our aim is to translate as much as possible of the website, but we are restricted partly by lack of funds to outsource this work, and partly by our own time limitation. Hence, most of the official documents that you can download, will regretfully only be available in Spanish
